Hey there! Talk about a busy month! Did you know that TX Votes registered more than 3,150 UT students and staff?
The last day to register to vote was October 7th, and TX Votes tabled around campus and on Speedway until midnight. We even predicted the TX/OU game score with a whopping 343 voters registered on the last day.

As part of Voter Education Week, TX Votes hosted Hot Questions and Hotter Wings on October 10th. We had a panel of three leaders of local government: Ric Galvin, Ashika Ganguly, and Cole Wilson. They were put to the test. Our Outreach Coordinator asked them questions, and before each question, they had to take a bite of progressively spicier wings. It was tough, but our panelists were on fire!

At the end of October, we had two days of Voterpalooza! Voterpalooza was a free event with live music, pizza, treats, and socializing at the UT turtle pond. Both days took place during early voting, so attendants could make plans to vote, look over sample ballots, and head over to vote at the nearby polling site. Over 400 people made plans to vote.

Early voting ends today! On the UT campus, you can vote today at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and the Student Union until 10 pm. Make sure to bring a valid ID.
You can also vote on Election Day, November 5th, from 7 am to 7 pm.
